Welcome back to the Howard Assembly Room!
With its barrel-vaulted ceiling, gothic motifs and arched windows, the Howard Assembly Room has become well known as a captivating, inspiring performance space in the centre of Leeds since it first opened in 2001. It is loved not only for its great acoustics but for the rich and varied programme of gigs, film screenings, talks, workshops and installations. As well as welcoming world-class musicians, performers and writers including Courtney Pine, The Unthanks, The Kronos Quartet, Abdullah Ibrahim, Roka Traore, Gina Miller, The Tallis Scholars and Joanna MacGregor, it is renowned for its specially-commissioned work made for the venue.
