How to find us

Stroll around the Gallery’s collections of paintings and sculptures and be amazed by outstanding art by exciting artists. Enjoy tea and refreshments in the Tiled Hall Café and buy inspirational books and gifts in the Gallery shop.

View who we are

A large proportion of the gallery is fully accessible. Some things to note are:

  • wheelchair access to the upper floor display areas of the gallery is via the lift in the library (with audible announcer). This lift has capacity for one wheelchair on any journey
  • the education studio used by pre-booked groups is inaccessible to wheelchair users but equal alternatives are offered. Please discuss any access needs with the Learning and Access Officer when booking your visit

Seating is available around the gallery and in the Tiled Hall Café. There are permanent seats and small, fold-up stools for use around the gallery.

The gallery has one wheelchair available for visitors to borrow. Please contact us in advance of your visit to ensure a chair is available, or ask a member of the team during your visit.
