Writing on Air is Chapel FM Arts Centre’s annual festival of words on the radio. Seven days and more than 75 events of inventive and exciting radio performed at Chapel FM Arts Centre in Seacroft, East Leeds.
Writing on Air features new writing from Leeds and beyond in all genres: poetry, soundscapes, audio drama, discussion, monologues, fiction, documentaries, dialogue and workshops.
Come join in person for live radio broadcasts in our lovely Radio Theatre, meet other creative people, and connect with ideas.
This year’s festival is designed around the theme of Threshold. Programmes will explore crossing places, transitions, to point at which something happens or starts to change.
