Sunken Studio
Sunken Studio is a bright, welcoming ceramics space in Leeds’ South Bank where people come together to get their hands dirty, explore clay, and create things they’re proud of; whether it’s a wheel-thrown bowl , a handbuilt mug,a playful sculpture or experimenting with glazes from raw materials. We run sessions for all levels, from curious beginners to experienced makers.
Our courses and memberships give people across the North access to engage with clay. Beginners and experienced makers can experiment, try new techniques, and build skills together. Memberships provide flexible studio access, personalised support, and opportunities to make alongside others. Our enrichment programme, including artist talks, connects participants with the creative process and inspires new ideas. We aim to provide high-quality arts engagement and a professional ceramics studio outside London.
