Leeds Print Workshop
Leeds Print Workshop is a cooperative arts and printmaking studio based at
Patrick Studios in central Leeds. They provide facilities for a wide range of
traditional printmaking processes and aim to develop a supportive community of
artists and printmakers. As well as providing facilities for members, they also run a wide range of workshops and courses in different processes for various groups and members of the public.
Leeds Print Workshop delivers various projects to connect and empower their
community through creativity and printmaking.
They currently offer printmaking sessions for young people, funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, and also run projects in collaboration with Pyramid of Arts – providing access to printmaking facilities for artists with learning disabilities and autism.
Leeds Print Workshop also runs a monthly screen printing session in collaboration with Printed By Us, and St Georges Crypt which engages those who are in recovery from complex issues such as addiction and homelessness. We are part of Arts Together because we believe that collaboration and community are essential in helping create high quality, engaging and inclusive arts and cultural activities.
“Really friendly and knowledgeable tutors. I felt well supported on the course and I loved the techniques and the unique outcomes from each session. It was a brilliant experience and I enjoyed meeting new people.”
