Project Farsley

We are a community led co-created arts organisation based in the neighbourhood of Farsley. Our aim is to work in consultation with the community to deliver public art work that celebrates our area and the people within it.

The group is open to anyone to join. We hold bi-monthly creative sessions in which we make collective decisions about creative initiatives within the area. We also regularly host creative community consultations and workshop’s to get the community as involved as possible in our creative process.

We are part of Arts Together because we want to feel supported and to offer support to the wider cultural ecology of the region.

People you may meet

  • Ben Mills

Hi I'm Ben. I am a community engagement artist and a professional baker. Fun fact, I also played professional rugby in New Zealand for a year.

  • Alaina Dunne

Hello, I’m Alaina. I’m a surface pattern designer and children’s clothing designer/maker. I have lived in Farsley with my husband and two small children for more than 15 years. My husband and I bought our first home here, we’re raising our family here, and we believe absolutely everything can be found in this gem of a village. Fun fact, I can write with both hands!

  • Charlotte

My name is Charlotte and I live in Farsley and work in TV Production. I’m obsessed with pizza, travelling the world mural hunting and buying trinkets at flea markets and car boots. I love going to jazz and hip hop gigs, running and walking and I have a phobia of balloons.
