One is a legendary tale set in the 15th century of villagers terrorised by a spider that emerges from the hand of the heroine, Christina; the other based on a news report of the strange happenings that followed the excavation of a Polish tomb in the 1970s…
This is the UK premiere of the ‘Hamburg’ version of the opera.
