LS18 Rocks at Leeds Playhouse

Leeds Playhouse will rock like never before as musicians from award-winning live performance music school LS18 Rocks hit the Courtyard stage.

Eight brilliant bands will deliver a non-stop playlist of singalong hits from across the decades, guaranteed to have audiences dancing all night long.

LS18 Rocks is a community-focused organisation providing opportunities for musicians of all ages to enjoy one-to-one lessons and expand their learning by performing with a live band. Operating from a dedicated studio in the heart of Horsforth, numerous accolades include winning a Child Friendly Leeds Award for Inspiring Creativity Through Arts and Culture.

This event is part of Open Season, the Playhouse’s annual festival of community creativity. The theme for 2026 is Happy Birthday, Leeds! commemorating the milestone 400th anniversary of our hometown receiving its royal charter and becoming a city. Tickets are Pay What You Can to ensure as many people as possible can come along and join the fun.
