About the event

Inkwell Arts are looking for creative individuals between 18-25 years of age to take part in an exciting intergenerational ten-week environmental art course.

This latest project from Inkwell Arts is funded by Time to Shine.

Exploring the relationship between art, our mental health and the environment this intergenerational course explains the views of different ages and encourages building creative relationships in pairs and groups. Under 25s and over 50s will be working together on a unique creative project.

Most importantly, the course aims to connect generations and reduce social isolation and improve overall wellbeing for all participants.

We are looking for individuals aged 18-25, who have:

Lived experience of mental health

An interest in art and creativity

The ability to commit to a weekly course, running for 10 sessions from the 8th September 2021

The course takes place over 10 weeks, ending in a month long exhibition at Inkwell Arts, 31 Potternewton Lane, Chapel Allerton, LS7 3LW.

The first session takes place on 8th September from 1-3pm but it isn’t too late to join!
