LEEDS INTERNATIONAL PIANO SERIES 2024/25
Anne Queffélec
Ludwig van Beethoven – The Last Three Sonatas

Piano Sonata, Op 109
Piano Sonata, Op 110
Piano Sonata, Op 111

French pianist Anne Queffélec has been a firm favourite with Leeds audiences ever since she won fifth prize in the 1969 Leeds International Piano Competition. She brings her unique blend of humanity, brilliance, and authority to bear on three of the greatest pillars of the piano repertoire, Ludwig van Beethoven’s last three piano sonatas.

A white woman in her late 70s leaning on a black grand piano with her hands crossed. She is wearing a dark purple and black shirt with red lipstick. She has grey short hair.
