Alana Brook has previously held posts at Lincoln Cathedral and Ripon Cathedral. A highlight of today’s programme is Philip Wilby’s The Mermaid from his new Ripon Misericords. Written especially for Alana, The Mermaid brings a powerful and dramatic conclusion to her recital.
