As part of this year’s Heritage Festival celebrations at Sunny Bank Mills, we’ll be creating twelve pop-up studio spaces in the main yard for artists and makers of any medium to sell or just exhibit their work. This opportunity is designed to give artists and makers who aren’t part of a studio participating in Leeds Open Studios the chance to get their work in front of as many people as possible across the weekend of Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th of September 2026.
The pop-up studios will be part of a vibrant weekend of festivities celebrating the rich history of the people of the Mills, including Open Studios across our Spinning Mill, Twisting Mill and Red Lane Mill Studio community.
With visitors across the site all weekend coming to explore the Mill’s heritage, it’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase your practice, connect with the community, and contribute to a weekend where art, culture and local history come together.

1 Day Stall – £45
2 Day Stall – £90
Applicants can let us know if they prefer to exhibit/sell on one or both days.
Stall fee includes a 6ft x 2.5ft wooden trestle table, chair and pop-up gazebo.
