We are pleased to announce our first Open Call, Planet Earth: Handle with Care, which is open to artists aged 18 and over working in 2D media, including painting, printmaking and collage. The winning artist will receive a £1,000 prize.
Art for Planet Earth was established to bring together artists whose work engages with environmental themes, creating opportunities for exhibition, discussion and public engagement through art. We believe that creative practice has an important role to play in helping people connect with environmental issues in meaningful and accessible ways.
As a not-for-profit unincorporated association, everyone involved in Art for Planet Earth is a volunteer, and any surplus generated will be donated to environmental charities. Further information about our aims and objectives can be found on our website.
